Can process design around buying and consumption of groceries be effective in combating food waste and streamlining urban food supply chains?

By 2050, global population is estimated to reach 9.3 billion people. Among numerous other implications, the food industry is going to have to prepare itself for this epidemic. Estimates say that we need to increase our food access by over 70%. This includes growth, consumption and most of all, decreasing food waste in the urban food supply chains. Food 360 explores possible solutions in the digital space that can overlay on this problem.
